This is my half of art-trade with =RuizuDog. Check her half out, it's marvellous! We both made same subject: Ana-Lucia and Ansela. They both have sad stories behind them. First I wasn't going to make background at all in this, it looked pretty what I wanted it to look even without. But I get excited when I saw Ruija's half. I just couldn't let this to be finished without background! Soon I had vision of beautiful but very scary skene of old church in my mind. I sketched it behind characters and inked and coloured. I think it would be beautiful in colours. Then I added... black foam or bubbles to come toward Ana and Ansela. It's kinda like that darkness, which doesn't want let it's servents go.
I wanted to make my picture sad...
I think it's always sad when children are hurt. Children should live always in safe. But what I've seen, here is no perfect safe in this world, even to them.
I hope Ruija likes this.
